At Clifton Jewish Center we “Thrive on Service”
We have both the facilities of a modern Synagogue-center and the experience of a new, capable staff to provide each and every member with the benefits of a well-run Center.

Our building is conveniently located in the center of Clifton and serves members in the greater Clifton area and neighboring  communities. We have the lowest dues structure of any conservative synagogue in the area. We have a large parking lot for those who drive.

Our Sanctuary

Our air-conditioned main Sanctuary offers comfortable seating arrangements and has been designed by outstanding architectural artists. We are especially proud of our Ark on our Bema whose central motif depicts the twelve tribes. Join our Monday, Thursday and Sunday Minyan for those who are saying Kaddish. We welcome all to our beautiful and inviting sanctuary.

Small Chapel

Ballroom & Lounge

Our Ballroom and Esther K. Sussman lounge are the focal point of our Center’s social life. We have a modern stage for theatricals, two fully equipped kitchens, a bridal chamber, and equipment to serve family and private functions in grand style. You can be proud to bring your family and friends to a function at the Center where all will be welcomed.

Meeting Rooms

Several rooms have been designed and equipped to provide the comfort and utility for medium and large group participation. If you know of any organizations looking for meeting rooms, call our office to make necessary arrangements.

Library

Our Werksman Library houses the largest selection of books and periodicals of Jewish interest in the area. It is open to members, students, and visitors who share its wealth of information for enjoyment, academic assignments or cultural fulfillment. It is professionally manned and maintained beautifully.
